About Chris

Chris qualified as a physiotherapist in the UK in 2007. After graduating he worked in the NHS for 11 years and in the private sector for 9 years gaining a large range of experience treating conditions throughout the body. In addition to working as a physiotherapist Chris has worked as a knee and hip advanced physiotherapy practitioner alongside orthopaedic specialists, and a first contact practitioner in the UK. Both of these roles require advanced clinical skills in managing musculoskeletal conditions. Therefore, he is expertly placed to diagnose and manage your condition appropriately.

Continuous development remains important to Chris and he has undertaken various post-graduate courses including soft tissue release, taping, lower limb biomechanics, running rehabilitation, hip rehabilitation and kneecap pain. In 2012 Chris went back to university to undertake a Masters degree in Advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy, which he completed in 2017.

Since moving to New Zealand Chris has worked in a clinical lead role at Habit Health and as a Masters level physiotherapist. Outside of work he enjoys exploring nature in New Zealand. He has a keen interest in the gym, running and ocean swimming and enjoys treating sports injuries.
